Hundreds of activists came together today from around the world to stand against the oppressive industries that commit and perpetuate violence and injustice upon the most innocent beings on earth. We entered a “humane”, “free range”, “certified organic” facility where we witnessed cannibalism, rotting corpses and deplorable conditions that no individual should ever experience. For these animals, this is their entire existence until they are violently slaughtered. • Despite the tragedies we witnessed, we were able to save 37 lives at Sunrise farms in Petaluma, California. Sunrise Farms prides themselves on their “family farm” “humane” “farm fresh” products, suppling Santa Rosa Egg farms, @amazon and @whole foods. Our efforts today revealed the true and inherent violence within these oppressive systems and proved that despite the clever certifications and humane washing, animals are suffering and needlessly dying at the hands of these evil corporations. • The photos and videos captured today depict what are considered #humane and #ethical farming practices. However, I can assure you, nothing compassionate takes place on that farm or at any other animal exploitative facility. I encourage everyone to lift the veil of ignorance regarding where your “food” comes from. Watch factory farm and slaughterhouse footage, documentaries and learn the truth. Today we stepped inside a factory farm hell that supplies Amazon.com and enslaves hundreds of thousands if not millions of hens for their eggs in large, pitch dark, filthy, and endless battery cage sheds. ·Around 40 lives rescued. My eyes and heart are heavy for the ones we left behind. ·Around 40 arrested for practicing their right to help abused or neglected animals as per CPC 597. Next time there will be more. ·Around 40 cops who, as just puppets of a corrupt and broken system, sided with abusive corporations. ·And HUNDREDS who came to bear witness to all that transpired and support activists being arrested. Undeniable evidence of suffering and dying hens at this facility was sent to all relevant law enforcement agencies. No answers. No action. When the justice system fails us, people will take action into their own hands. #MassOpenRescue #OneClickCruelty, brought to you by Amazon. #ALC2018 #DxE #DirectActionEverywhere #TheSaveMovement
